How to Prepare Descriptive Answers
For a question about a teaching method, a well-organized answer may include:
- Meaning or definition
- Important principles
- Steps or procedure
- Teacher’s role
- Students’ role
- Advantages
- Limitations
- Relevant classroom example
- Conclusion
When a question asks for comparison, explain both concepts clearly and organize their similarities or differences under suitable headings.
The appropriate structure may vary according to the wording of the question. Students should read command words such as define, explain, compare, discuss and evaluate carefully before preparing an answer.
